The Nebraska Safety, Health and Environmental Conference and Exposition.
The Nebraska Industrial Council on Environment (NICE) Organization is sponsoring the NICE Environmental Awards again this year. NICE, is requesting award nominations in the following categories: individual, business or industry, other organizations (includes community groups and/or projects and not-for-profit organizations), and specific environmental project.
The NICE Organization will be presenting the Environmental Awards at the 2008 Nebraska Safety, Health and Environment Conference and Exposition to be held in Lincoln, Nebraska at the Cornhusker Hotel on April 9 and 10, 2008.
The Awards Selection Committee, consisting of NICE Members, will make the award selections. The selection criteria are based upon environmental excellence, leadership and innovation. There will be one award winner per category.
Please feel free to make copies of the nomination form (Word document) and distribute it to your staff or colleagues. Nominations may be made in more than one category. Any individual, business or organization can be nominated. Self-nominations are acceptable. Winners will be notified in advance so they can make arrangements to receive the award at the conference.
Thank you for your help in promoting this worthwhile effort. We realize that there are many individuals, businesses and organizations in the State of Nebraska deserving of recognition in pursuing environmental excellence.
